    For Venue Owners:

    Listing your venue is simple. Sign up for an account, create your venue profile, and fill in the necessary details such as location, amenities, and availability. Your venue will be live in no time!

    • Title: The name of your venue as it will appear on the platform. Make sure it’s clear and recognisable to help visitors easily find your listing.
    • Description: A detailed overview of your venue. Include key information such as size, ambiance, and any unique features that make your space special.
    • Tagline: A short, catchy phrase (in 50 characters or less) that sums up what makes your venue stand out. Think of it as your venue’s slogan.
    • Additional Information: Use this box to include any extra details that may be relevant to guests, such as special events, kitchen hours, or live entertainment.
    • Type of Venue: Select the category that best describes your venue (e.g., cafe, community hall, event space) to help organisers find the right kind of space for their event.
    • Venue Suited To: Select all the categories that best describe the types of events your venue is perfect for (e.g., book clubs, support groups, tabletop gaming). This helps organisers find spaces tailored to their specific needs.
    • Features: Highlight key characteristics of your venue, such as a quiet environment, natural lighting, or whether it’s pet-friendly. These features help organisers determine if your space suits their event’s vibe and requirements.
    • Amenities: List the facilities available at your venue, such as Audio/Visual Equipment, Film Licence, Food and Drinks service, Gaming Licence, or Large Tables. Amenities provide organisers with the practical tools they need to host successful events.
    • Maximum Guests per Reservation: Specify the maximum number of guests your venue can accommodate for a single reservation. This ensures organisers can find venues that fit their group size comfortably.
    • Region: Select the area or region where your venue is located (e.g., London, South West). This helps organisers filter venues based on their preferred location.
    • Address: Provide the full address of your venue so that organisers and guests can easily find you. Make sure it's accurate for smooth navigation.
    • Opening Hours: Specify the days and times when your venue is available for bookings. You can also select your time zone to ensure accurate scheduling for organisers.
    • Pricing Information: Indicate whether your venue is free to reserve or if there’s a cost (e.g., £10 per hour). This helps organisers plan within their budget when booking your venue.
    • Special Offers: Highlight any special deals or discounts you’re offering, such as "10% Off Food and Drinks for Your Members." Keep it concise, as you have up to 100 characters.
    • Contact Email: Provide the best email address for organisers to reach you directly with questions or booking enquiries.
    • Phone Number: Enter a phone number where organisers can contact you. This feature is available for venues on paid packages.
    • Website: Share your venue’s website to give organisers more information and showcase your space online. This feature is available with a paid package.
    • Social Networks: Include links to your venue’s social media profiles (e.g., Facebook, Instagram) to engage with organisers and promote your space. This feature is part of the paid package.
    • Logo: Upload your venue’s logo to help create a strong visual identity on your listing. Make sure the file size is no larger than 3MB.
    • Cover Images: Upload up to three images that will be displayed as the header of your venue listing. These should showcase your venue’s best features. Each file should not exceed 3MB.
    • Gallery Images: Add additional images to your gallery to give organisers a fuller view of your venue. This feature is available for venues on paid packages. Each file should be under 3MB.
    • Video URL: If you have a promotional video of your venue, include the URL here. It’s a great way to visually showcase your space to potential organisers.

    On your listing page, click on the “More Actions” dropdown and then select “Claim Listing”.

    Go to your dashboard, find your listing under “My Listings,” and click “Edit” on the listing that you would like to update. Here, you can update images, contact information, and any details about your venue.

    Animal & Animal Lovers

    Sample Activities: Pet meet ups, animal welfare group meetings, pet adoption events, training classes for pets, wildlife conservation discussions, bird-watching groups, and animal-friendly fundraisers.

    Venue Requirements: Outdoor or pet-friendly spaces, secure enclosures or fenced areas, seating and shaded areas for comfort, water stations for pets, easy access for carriers, and waste disposal facilities.

    Arts & Creativity

    Sample Activities: Painting and drawing workshops, photography sessions, crafting classes (like pottery or knitting), music or dance classes, writing and poetry workshops.
    Venue Requirements: Flexible seating, space for creative materials and equipment, good lighting, storage for art supplies, optional AV support for digital arts.

    Business & Networking

    Sample Activities: Networking events, startup pitch events, career fairs, industry meet ups, speed networking, co-working sessions, mentorship programmes.
    Venue Requirements: Comfortable lounge areas, mingling spaces, refreshments, presentation screens, AV capabilities, and a quiet setting for discussions.

    Venue Requirements: High-speed internet, gaming consoles or computers, tech-friendly seating, AV support, ergonomic chairs, and monitor setups.

    Venue Requirements: Workshop tables, access to power outlets, safe equipment areas, storage, and easy-to-clean surfaces.

    If you have more than one venue, upgrading to our paid plan allows you to manage multiple listings from a single dashboard. You can add, edit, and track the performance of each venue easily.

    To promote your venue, simply purchase one of our boosters options. Navigate to “My Listings” and select “Promote” on the listing that you would like to boost. Choose from 1 Week, 1 Month, 3 Month and 6 Month durations.

    Make sure your images are in the correct format (JPEG, PNG) and within the size limit of 3MB. If you’re still having trouble, try refreshing the page or using a different browser.

    Head to your account dashboard, click on “My Subscription,” and select “View” on the active subscription that you would like to modify. Click the “Upgrade or Downgrade” button to change your package or “Cancel” to suspend your plan.
    If you’re on our paid plan, you can add special offers by editing your venue listing via the “My Listings” section.

    If you’re not receiving enquiries, make sure your contact information is correct and up to date. Additionally, consider promoting your listing to increase visibility.

    For Event Organisers & Users:

    To sign up, click the Register link on the top-right corner of the homepage. From there, you’ll be guided through a quick registration process. You can also sign in using your existing Google account.

    On each venue’s listing page, you’ll find a contact form and the venue’s direct contact information under the “Contact Details” tab. Use the form to ask any questions or clarify details before booking.

    Only venues registered on GatherWhere are available for selection. If you’d like to create an event but can’t find your venue, consider reaching out to them and suggesting they join the platform.

    Absolutely! With GatherWhere, you can manage and post as many events as you like, all from your account.

    No, GatherWhere connects you directly with venues, so you can discuss booking details directly with the venue owner or manager.

    Yes! Venues on GatherWhere come with ratings and reviews from previous users, so you can make an informed decision.

    If you’ve forgotten your password, click on the “Forgot Password” link on the login page, and follow the instructions to reset it. You’ll receive an email with a link to create a new password.
